Graduation!

Didn't had time to buy any formal clothes for graduation.

And all of us were so darn tired, 

so I decided to skip the graduation until

the very last min before I go to bed after the funeral ended. 

I borrowed my white shirt from my brother, 

formal black pants from my mum 

and went ahead with the graduation ceremony.

And I'm so glad I did!

I've finally officially graduated!

You'll be missed!

Many things happened during the past week,

and I even had the thought of skipping

the graduation ceremony.

My grandpa passed away last friday.

And the funeral ended jus this tuesday,

a day before my graduation.

Although all of us are mentally prepared

that he is gonna leave anytime,

but it was still kinda sudden for us because 

I visited him last wed before I head for work.

He was in pain, as usual, and coughing badly.

Plus, he refuse to take his medicine.

The doctor said that she did inform us during his last few hours

 but in fact none of the family members were informed.

So, basically I woke up to this news on friday and all of us

rushed to the hospice to see him.

He is a traditional man,

who worked most of his life for his family,

and single-handedly brought up 5 children.

A strong, independent man that led his own life

after his children all had their own family.

Although we seldom spend time together,

I know that he is a man who has so much love

but is not so capable of putting them into words and actions.

He's a man who makes effort to bring his family

to take family photos and had always placed photos 

of his family all over his bedroom.

You'll be missed!

Mother's day!

It's Mother's day yesterday!

and my brother decided to bring my mum and my aunt

out for a buffet but he didn't make any reservation...

MEH. 

Me and my brothers fork out some cash 

to give it to my mum and my aunt. 

Oh and my brother gave my aunt a new earpiece

since she listens to music all the time!! 

And we settled for Japanese food~

Just came back from visiting my grandpa.

He converted yesterday.

I can't be sure if this is what he want,

but mum said that he personally agreed to converting.

but I personally feel it's kinda impossible for

a traditional man who pray to Tua Pek Kong

his whole life would convert.

Regardless, I respect his decision.

This led to complications as I think he have

already made arrangements to put his spirit tablet

beside my grandmas in one of the temple

when my step grandma passed away about 6 or 7 years ago.

And I'm quite sad to say that he is not mentally sober.

I don't know if it's the medicine or the pain 

that cause him to be in that state.

He didn't remember our names and 

when he saw me last weekend,

he couldn't recognize me. 

He is a man with lots of pride, he refuses to use the wheelchair

until he fell down last week while walking to the toilet.

He doesn't have any strength to do go anywhere,

so they made him wear a adult diapers, 

which is so hard for him to accept.

I know it's really hard on him,

But I don't know what I can do for him.

Pray for my grandpa.
